Welcome to a new year of Christian Education for your family.  Please know, while your children are in Sunday school we have many adult bible study groups being held in the church.  In the church meeting room, Edna Black is studying the Book of Ephesians and Patty Matarazzo is studying the Book of Ruth in the Education Building meeting room.  ALL WELCOME AT ANYTIME!!     

 

For a successful Sunday School program we need the support of our parents.  If you would like to volunteer, please fill out the form below and put in the mailbox of Susan Larsen-Haren or Annette Maresca as soon as possible.  We need at least 1 substitute teacher for each class and there are many other possibilities of volunteering.

Sunday School
 
During the school year, three-year-olds through Sixth Graders meet during the 9:00 a.m. education hour. Confirmation classes and youth/adult Bible classes meet at the same time.
Our curriculum has traditional courses interspersed with videos, skits, songs, and crafts. Sometimes a class will “report” to the congregation during worship services with a song or project. Of course, their songs and skits are a special part of our holiday services!
 
 
 
 
Child Development Center
 
As part of its long-term plan, the congregation will soon erect a new building on the property. We will be adding a Christian Day Care Center to the Prince of Peace Campus.

 

 

Bible Study Classes

Phone the church office (732) 363-0732 for information and times regarding Bible Study Classes.  Currently we have at least three different groups that you may want to join.

 

 

Confirmation Instruction

The program, for 7th & 8th graders,  includes participation in the Youth Group for service projects and fellowship, as well as involvement in the worship life of the congregation by serving as acolytes, ushers, or lectors.

Prince of Peace Educational Center

POPEC is a Christian Kindergarten-preparedness nursery school with classes for children ages 2 ½ - 5 years, meeting two, three or five times per week.  Morning or afternoon sessions are available.  The center has a long-standing reputation for excellence. Several current students are the children of former students.

Each class has a certified teacher as instructor. The school is owned by Prince of Peace congregation.
